How big is a gobox?
5’ wide x 8’ long x 7’ high (OUTSIDE)
4’8” wide x 7’8” long x 6’10” high (INSIDE)
A gobox conveniently fits into a parking space or tight areas in urban neighbourhoods, single family home lots and apartment, condo or business complexes.
How much will they hold?
Each gobox will hold 1–1½ rooms full of furniture and household items or up to 2,000 pounds. They have a storage capacity of about 240 cubic feet. To estimate how many goboxes you might need, use our GO BOX Estimator for a precise estimate or refer to our Sizing Guide for a quick, rough estimate.
What is the best way to load my possessions safely?
Convenient tie-downs are located inside each gobox to help keep your possessions from shifting while in transit. Fill empty spaces with light items, clothing or linens. Protect furniture and fragile items with packing blankets. Put heavier items on the bottom and lighter items on top. Distribute weight evenly within the gobox.

How many goboxes will I need?
Typically a gobox will hold 1-1½ rooms of household items and furniture. To estimate how many goboxes you might need, use our GO BOX Estimator for a precise estimate or refer to our Sizing Guide for a quick, rough estimate. You will only be charged the monthly storage fee for the goboxes you use.
If you end up not needing one of the goboxes you had delivered, we will not charge you the minimum one month storage fee but you will be charged for the delivery. However, if we need to make a second delivery to your home, the cost is still only $30.00 for delivery of an additional gobox. It's best to order them as you need them.
How long do I have to load or unload my gobox?
This is one of the great benefits of our service. Some people load or unload their goboxes in a few hours, some people take a few weeks. It’s totally up to you!
Will you load or unload my gobox for me?
You may hire a Moving Buddy from us for $40.00/hour. If you require 2 or more people to help move your items it would be better for you to look into hiring some professional movers.
If you are loading or unloading a gobox at our storage facility, we can provide dollies or platform hand trucks for your convenience.
Does a gobox lock?
Yes, the goboxes may be locked with a standard padlock or combination lock. You can order locks when confirming your order, purchase them from the driver or use heavy duty padlocks you already own. Check out Supplies for a list of locks we have available.
Does anyone else have a key to my gobox?
You own the lock and keep the key. You have complete control over who is allowed to access your gobox while it is in storage.
